Trees

I found this in the back of a notebook I used for outdoor school at Camp Wawona last year.  In order to help motivate the kids to write their tree poems, I promised I would write one too.  Here it is:

"Trees"

Friends of clouds and earth
Scent the air with mirth
Sunlight streamers
Wind dancers
Ancient friends of clouds and earth
