Enough

Never enough.
Why is it so hard to step into Your sunshine?
To let go of the
Striving
Earning
Pleading
Yearning.
Why can't I let go, like the leaf
In the arms of the wind
And rest in the truth of what You say...
About me, about You.
I'm paralyzed--
Frozen by my own expectations.
Never enough!
But You never asked me to be,
Because You are.
You are enough.
Even on the days I am
  not wise enough
  not pretty enough
  not ambitious enough
  not busy enough
  not caring enough
  not social enough
  not spiritual enough...
I'm tired.
And You are waiting.
So here I am--
  sitting on the ground
  lying on the grass
  turning my face up
Letting Your grace surround me, soak into me.
Revive me
Because You are enough.
