December Graduation 2009
Pick a day in December 2009. Any day. That's the day I graduated from Richmont Graduate University with my Masters of Science in Christian Psychological Studies. Since my school does not have a December graduation, and I won't be able to participate in the May graduation, my family helped me celebrate this last educational milestone in my life. ("Never, never, never never, never get a doctorate." I think that's what Winston Churchill once said.)
I'd like to thank all my friends and family who have inspired me, listened to me whine about papers and projects, and even studied with me in some cases. (And in some cases, you were my studies. Ha.) Most of all, I would like to thank God, who honestly got me through it, and blessed me with much better grades than I deserved.

What a wonderful graduation speech. Its cool that it featured you so prominently. You didn't have to share the limelight with hundreds of other people. Congratulations though. Dishon got his football back. Thanks for that. Also, poor Akila, she hit her head on my motorhome 4 times. I kept trying to warn her. The last time she got really mad. Anyway, thats neither here nor there...
ReplyDeleteHaha...that last part shouldn't be funny, but it kind of is. Glad you got to see them one last time. Yes, it was kind of nice at my graduation. I got all the awards, all the speeches, all the pictures. Like a homeschool gradution.. :)
ReplyDeleteYour family is the coolest! I love how your dad and brother even have ties on.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! ;)
congrats. to bad i missed it. i could have sat in the 'balcony' and whined about how i don't have one and wished i was graduating with mine :Ø)
ReplyDeletesorry i didn't come to your graduation. but they're always so long and boring. i hate the waiting part; for all those people i don't even know. i guess that might be a lame excuse?
ReplyDeleteExcuses, excuses.
